I have been asking around trying to get info about the grad intern position but many of the pharmacists dont know or they refer me to a DM who rarely answers my emails. I was wondering if you get hired as a grad intern I think they limit you like 160 hours and you must get licensed in 90 days.

My questions are what happens if you either exceed 160 hours or you dont become licensed within 90 days. Do you lose your job or do they bump you down in pay scale or do you become a tech?

What happens if you do get licensed ... do you still resume work as an intern or do they ask you to quit if they dont want to hire you?

I've seen a few threads on grad interns these past few weeks... I was under the impression it's a position for someone who has already signed on with the company (to be a pharmacist) and is just learning the ropes until they get licensed. I don't think it's meant to be a long term/permanent position at all if that's what you are thinking.

Exactly this. They aren't going to wait forever for you to get licensed. Your contract or company policy may state expectations that you get licensed within a certain time, and failing to do so may terminate your position.
