Hey guys. Does anyone have experience working a full time job while doing a part time grad program (6-7credits/semester)? I know a couple dental schools I have talked to said they want to see if you can succeed while taking a full load of courses but they also said they would understand if there are financial obligations. I was wondering if anyone has any success applying into dental school with a Masters that you completed at a part time rate? Thanks in advance

I don’t have personal experience with this but I recently met someone that is a D2 who went this route. Not only was he able to work full-time while earning a masters degree, but it also allowed him to establish in-state residency for dental school.

I worked 25-32 hours a week in a labor intensive job while taking 12-16 units as a full time masters student for 2 years. Shoot me a message if you have any questions.
