Grade change delay, should I send in transcripts?

Hi, I received my grades back for last semester and one of them needs to be changed. The professor will be out of town for almost half of the summer so the change cannot be processed until then at the earliest. I would like to send in my transcripts so that I can turn in my primary on time. Is there anyway I can go back and change a grade later on thorugh AMCAS? What would you guys suggest doing in this case? Thanks
