Grade Replacement from 2 different institutions

I can't tell you for sure but there is a chance they will. Had you received a different grade in both lecture and lab then they wouldn't be able to replace the original grade.

Yeah I emailed them to ask and have not heard anything back from them, I was hoping they would respond quicker because the deadline to enroll in a 4 credit gen chem class is coming up

living on a prayer - i too would like to know if anyone was successfully able to do this. My apologies for hijacking your thread, but i was wondering if the reverse was also possible.

Physics 1: C (2 semester units)
Physics 1L: C- ( 1.33 semester units)

Retake at a diff institution: Physics 3 (lecture & lab): A (4 semester units)

I believe the only time you will have a problem is when the original class is combined lecture and lab and then your retake is a split lecture and lab with a different grade in both the lecture and lab. That is a problem I ran into.

So this is the answer I received from AACOMAS, "As long as the courses are the same level, the course descriptions are the same, and the credit hours are greater than or equal to the first time the course was taken, then it can be used as a repeat. Thank you"

I'm still not sure if they will replace the original 4 credits.

In case anyone was in the same situation as me, I emailed again and received this response "In order for courses to meet AACOMAS' guidelines: the ratio is 1:1, repeats must be at the same level, the semester hours must be equal or more than the original course, and the course description must be similar. All those requirements must be met. Thank you."

There was a thread about this problem not long ago.

I think though the issue the OP had was the opposite of yours and it worked out ok.

Something about splitting the 4 credit into lecture lab.
