Grade Replacement - how to confirm BEFORE retaking classes

Good Evening Everyone,

I've made the decision to go back to school in an attempt to get into a DO school. I am currently planning a DIY post-bac for myself. I have some really odd courses from my first Bachelor's degree because I took a lot of the odd "principles" or "intro" classes. I need to repeat a lot of these for gpa purposes, but I would like to confirm that they will be repeat eligible as I am going to attend a different university than the one I originally went to.

Is there any way to confirm that a class will replace another class before applying?

P.S. I have read multiple similar threads on this forum, gone through the grade replacement information from AACOMAS instructions online, and I even tried emailing here >[email protected], but the email bounced back. I would just like some concrete answers before I enroll in courses and spend money and time.

I need to plan a DIY postbac. Is there any way to confirm that a class will replace another class now so I don't have to worry later?

Did you e-mail them with the > as part of the e-mail address? That might be the reason why it bounced.

Every email I sen is gets bounced back. From all of my accounts. I guess now I have 2 reasons to call. Thank you

Formally, there's no way to confirm potential, future repeats unless they're taken at the same exact school. The rule of thumb is that if the title and course content are highly similar, it passes

Yeah, just look at the course descriptions and make sure they are CLOSE to the original course you took. I believe that this is an extremely overblown issue on this forum. I had a few courses that did not match up PERFECTLY and had zero issues with them counting as grade replacements with AACOMAS.
