grade replacement question

I had taken gen chem I at a university and would like to replace it, but they had it listed as a 4 credit class with a 1 credit lab. The university that I would like to make it up at has it listed as a three credit class.. will it not get approved? I did also only get a C in it. I didn't fail it or anything. Given this, I don't even know if it is worth it to be honest.

This has been answered a billion times probably in the last 3 weeks. Please search next time. OK, so again, it will not count as a replacement unless it has the same number of credits or more. So, no, it will not count as a replacement if the original course was 4 credits and the retake is 3. Do the retake at another school that offers it as a 4 credit course.

Its really up to you, but a C in a pre-req doesn't look too good.

There are not schools in my area that even have gen chem as 4 credits with a 1 credit lab. It seems that 3 + 1 is the norm.

It really varies by school. In my city half the universities/colleges have 4 credit classes and the other half have 3+1.

If you have no other options (not even taking it online from an accredited college/university), then I would just forget about it.

It probably varies heavily by school and if it does exist its probably minimal.

I am probably going to make some phone calls and get an official answer. I heard on here that they do not, but I would prefer to get a definite answer on this.
