Grade Replacement Question

I have searched SDN and still have not found a clear answer for this. Can someone who has actually experienced this give me insight.

I want to retake a 4 credit Lecture/Lab Gen Chem 2 course with just the 3 credit lecture. Will this replace and will my lab credit stay?

On the flip side I want to retake a 3 credit lecture and a 1 credit lab with a 4 credit lecture/lab combined course. Will I be able to mark repeat on both courses and get credit for the single 4 credit combined class?

Replacing 4 for 3 and leaving out the lab won't work. The credit number needs to be equal or higher in order for AACOMAS to do the grade replacement.
