Hello everyone,
For those who previously attended an SMP program and applied to med school in the same year, how often did you send in grade updates? My program works on a trimester school calendar, and our exams are combined (meaning they include all the subjects we are currently taking during that period). Would it be too much if I send an update to med schools after every exam? Or, should I send one for every trimester? The only exception is that I recently completed a course with a 95%, so I was wondering if I should update med schools on that course. Also, would you advise sending these update letters on your own or through your advisor? I can see all of my grades but was wondering if med schools would not believe in the grades I reported on my own.
