I got my first acceptance this morning and I'm really excited. I still have two outstanding prerequisites (Chem II, Physics II) that I am finishing up this semester. I am assuming that the offer is contingent on maintaining a certain grade threshold in the remaining classes. I'm sure it varies a bit from school to school, but is there a normal grade level that is expected? I would assume that the offer wouldn't be rescinded if I got Bs in both classes, right?

I'm doing fine in both classes right now (A or maybe A- in both), and I don't plan on tanking, but I'm a nontraditional student who has been working and going to school for the last year and a half. My current semester ends in May and the program starts in June, and it would be nice if I could ease up a bit on the throttle before hitting the books hard again come June.

Generally it is required that you complete your courses with a minimum of a C. I highly doubt they would kick you out if you got B's! That would be a crazy strict school! I think some schools also require that you maintain an overall 2.5, so if you're coming close to that then be careful, but I doubt that's an issue for you...

I think you would be fine with B's. But if I were you I would straight up ask them so you dont get blindsided. I know it may sound lazy if you are to ask but there is always a right and wrong way to approach the subject. Simply state that you are striving for the best grades possible but you would like to be sure that your acceptance is not revoked. Good luck and congrats

Not sure where you were accepted (congrats by the way) but the three schools that have discussed it with me require you get at least a 3.0 in each remaining course.

Make sure to keep 'em as high as you can, I'd try t finish with a high GPA incase you decide another form of schooling later after PT school. B's as minimum wouldn't really hurt you much since you've been accepted.
