Hello,

I’m a D2, and after a rough semester, my GPA in dental school is a 3.03. I would like to get into a GPR program that is well-reputable, but I’m not sure as to how I need to develop myself to become a stronger applicant when it’s time.

I do lots of volunteer work and my clinical skills are great. Didactically, my grades have not been the best, averaging 77-78s in classes where I fell two points short of a B.

Any thoughts on things to consider before applying to GPRs from D4s?

No thought put into most of it. Going by hearsay on sites like this. PS that was written while riding a rollercoaster. No prep for interviews.
Basically not knowing what you really want. Ending up in a spot not meant for you.

Strong performance in D3 can boost your rank and gpa.
I agree with the above! Don't give up. You still have a chance especially with an upward trend through dental school 🙂

There are lots of GPRs out there. Some even struggle to fill their positions. Still lots of possibilities!
