Hello guys, I am a vet school in ITaly (not by choice, I couldn't get a visa to stay) and I am wondering the Q that most vet students wonder...
How important really are grades? As in, GPA is important, or the last 2 years more than the first 2, or what experience and letters of reference you get... will a 3.00 GPA kill me? a 2.7? a 3.5? AAARGH!

I am facing my anatomy 1 exam (of 3) which is verbal and I am a little freaked out, and wondering, should I take and retake the exam until the elusive A, graduate in 8 yrs (yes, you can do it here... weird, I know!) or just do my best and get out of school and get some good practice? 😕
I have been studying for this exam for a month, I have no idea what I am doing and thus I am freaking out!:luck::luck::luck::luck::luck: (I need lots of luck, I figure!)

LEt me know! I have read previous threads, but somehow I am still confused :scared: It must be the anatomy that's killing me! Thanks 😳

I think a lot of that depends on what you want to do after vet school. They become a lot more important if you want to go for a competitive internship/residency later on. They are probably a little less important if you plan on going straight out into practice. Thats the feeling I've gotten about it all at least.

Well, I think I would like to get an internship in equine medicine, which I hear is not the most competitive field, mainly to get more supervised experience, because clinicals here last only 3 months...
