I have an F from a course at a community college from summer of 2004 that I don't know how I got because I thought I should've been dropped automatically by not showing up (I started at my undergrad institution in Fall of '05) and I later retook the course to get an A. I don't have any other grades that are lower than a C, but I was wondering, for most schools, do they look at this as an anomaly or just some laziness? Also, since this is from '04, does this count towards my gpa?

How do Pharm schools find out what institutions you've attended? I haven't taken any classes at another community college, but I've registered there. Do I need to put that school on my Pharmcas app as well?

You know how you got it.... you didn't drop the class, so you stayed on the books, and then you didn't complete any assignments so the professor gave you an F, since your score was likely a zero. On every single last syllabus I've ever had (college since 2000...) it always says, "Dropping this course is your responsibility, I will not drop you if you just stop showing up" so... yeah you're stuck with that.

If you mostly have As, with a couple of Bs and only a small amount of Cs, a random F will look extremely out of place and will most likely be written off, sure. However, it will factor into your cumulative GPA, so hopefully it wasn't a 5 credit hour class.

You tell them via PharmCAS or application if they don't use PharmCAS. However, omitting something is never advisable, and while you can do it, I'd never recommend doing it.

If you haven't ever taken a single class there, no.

And as I said before, yeah it'll be stuck in with your cumulative GPA, no matter when it's from. I had to enter college coursework from my first semester in JC in 2000...
