I can graduate a year early with a neuroscience major and only 15 hours each semester because of my AP credits. Or I could study abroad one semester, and find a minor and graduate at the normal time. However, I cant find a minor that I'm genuinely interested in to fill in the extra 18 hours I have room for.

I was wondering what everyone thought about saving a year's tuition and going to med school right after I graduate? Graduating a year early would save me $40,000. I'm in a medical program, so my seat is guaranteed and won't have to worry about applying to med school with less time to study for the MCAT and cramming in interviews.

Thanks!

I suggest the study abroad, and with the gap semester you could get a job, travel some more, and just live life before you start your 7+ year career path towards becoming a physician, where you won't have a whole lot of time for fun. You don't want to look back on your youth as a person who just stared at textbooks all day. A study abroad semester will be a memorable experience that you won't regret doing.
