Hey Everyone,

I am currently in the process of applying to Do schools. I have already interviewed at 3 schools and have been accepted to all 3, thankfully. When I began the application process, I indicated that I was going in graduate from college in May of 2012. However, plans have kind of changed for me, and I found out I can graduate a semester early. My question is, would I have to correct this on my aacomas application, and will they send the schools I am waiting to hear back from an update with this information? Also, will that hurt my chances at other schools? I just want to keep my options open. Graduating early will save me lots of time and money, but I don't want this decision to hurt my chances at any schools I am waiting to hear back from or cause schools to cancel my acceptance because of that change. Any responses are greatly appreciated! Thanks guys 🙂

Why would this be a bad thing lol? Maybe just give the schools a notification like "hey, i'm more awesome that I thought. Graduating early, just FYI"

My thoughts exactly...

:whoa:

The only thing negative is your school loan kicking in if you don't have a job and you can't restart the deferment process until med school matriculation.

At most he/she would be paying for 2 months. You get a 6 month grace-period which puts him/her around June for starting payments, then average matriculation date is around August.

Damn school loans 👎

**Clearly I'm talking about Fed Loans, I don't know jack about private loans**

Yea I am going in to speak with the financial aid people at my school tomorrow to figure out this whole repaying my student loan thing on time! Thanks for all the quick replies guys 🙂

I thought this thread would've been about you having to push BACK your graduation date.

Enjoy your extra semester off! 🙂

See if you can find a paid research position during your time off. You get $$ to start paying off your loans; possibly get authorship; and get connections and LoRs for future use.
