Hey all,
I'm looking for a gift idea for a future PharmD grad this spring. I don't know enough about the field to know what to get. I'm looking for something useful, practical, yet still thoughtful and sentimental. Any ideas?

Titleist ProV1x 👍

My favorite gift was a beautiful olivewood mortar and pestle, it makes nice pesto and is remotely related to pharmacy.

and I was going to say NO MORTAR AND PESTLES.

so. generic.

I drove through your great state last night. Now I'm in Southern Arizona... I didn't realize the weather was so nice here...I might have to find me a winter home here. 👍

Tucson or?

I have an interview in Phx on Thurs and one in Tucson on Friday.

I miss Tucson so very much.

I avoid your great state like the plague!

A nice leather-bound version of Remington's would look fantastic on any book shelf.

Or a case of Milwaukee's Best. Can't go wrong with the Beast.

South of Tucson. I have family here. I can't get over the weather.. Now I'm learning that it's not that hot during summer here either because of the elevation. And it cools down at night.

where are you? Sierra Vista/Ft Huachuca? Sonoita? Bisbee? Green Valley?

There are some nice areas down there.

Sierra Vista. My uncle and aunt retired here. My bro and my cousins are here and my parents are visiting here. So I'm visiting. I haven't been here since 1988 when we came and toured Tombstone.

that is a nice area. Gets a little too much winter for my taste, but you're right, it doesn't get too hot.

Did you live in this area? It was low 40's here in the morning but with the sun beaming, it felt warm.

I lived in Tucson for 10 years, but had some cousins in Sierra Vista. We used to go to horse shows down in Benson and Sonoita quite a bit.

Actually, I kind of want to live in the NYC/PA area during the winter and then move down to the mountainous area of Arizona for the summer.

I spent a week at camp in the White Mountains back in 2005, it was great, 70 during the day, 45 at night in the middle of summer. Although, I hated it once we got back to Phoenix, it was hot as ****.

Sierra Vista, the town of cousins...

BS. I've considered snowbirding for years. If I got serious with riding again I'd love to do it, and go do the winter circuit down in Florida.

If I get the spot in NC I've already been offered a horse. 😍

Hand-lathed Italian olivewood is pretty. I like mine.
so. not generic.
