Hello all...I was wanting to know some things:
What are the graduation requirements for your program?
Does your school have a problem with students not graduating on time due to lack of patients or patients not being able to pay?
Does your school assign all your patients or did you have to/choose to recruit patients?
Does your school require you to treat the same patient from start to finish OR do you treat patients based on a rotation schedule or based on what you need to graduate OR can you trade with a classmate one procedure for another to meet requirements (i.e. I'll give you 2 crowns for an RPD-sounds crazy but I had to ask)?
Do you have classmates that pay for their patients' treament?
Does your school have an indigent program for the less fortunate patients (even though most schools have very reduced fees anyway)?
Is there a problem getting appointments because of lack of space or faculty or because of certain clinics being closed on certain days (i.e. pedo clinic closed on Fridays, endo clinic only open M, T and Th, etc)?
I did a search and saw some posts from 2004 and I know some schools change requirements every year, so I was wanting to get current info.
Thanks a mil!!
