In honor of our impending release from prison....uh residency I've been compiling an OR song list to play on the last day...any suggestions? Ive come up with

1. Final Countdown - foreigner
2. Free Falling - Tom Petty
3. Thats why I said f@#k it (title?) - Dave Chappelle
4. Im the Man - Buck O Nine
5. Bring the pain - Method man

Bring on the suggestions!

If you haven't heard TOOl cover "No Quarter" by Led Zeppelin then get it. Hands down the best cover song I have ever heard, better than the original and I grew up on Zepp. There was no better in my mind.

"No Quarter"

Lock all the doors, kill the lights.
No one's coming home tonight.
The snow beats down and don't you know?
All our lives are growing cold, oh...
They bring news that must get through.
To build a dream for me and you, oh.

Locked in a place where no one goes.

They ask no quarter
They have no quarter.

Lock the door, kill the light
No one's coming home tonight

It's getting colder [7x]
Locked in a place where no one goes.

Lock the door, kill the light
No one's coming home tonight

They bring news that must get through.
Dying peace in me and you

Locked in a place where no one goes.

We have no quarter
We have no quarter
We ask no quarter

The hidden meaning is there for you.

Oh Alright, I'll tell you the meaning.

To give no quarter might have meant "don't show any friendliness to the enemy". It's possible also that to give quarters could refer to the need to provide prisoners with a place to stay, so that to give no quarter was a figurative way of saying "take no prisoners". In other words, to give no mercy.

Run To The Hills-Iron Maiden
Turn Me Loose-Loverboy

Come Sail Away-The Eric Cartman version
Tempus Fugit-Yes
End of the Line-Traveling Wilbury's
The Last Car(Theme from Gone In 60 Seconds)-Trevor Rabin
Talk To Ya' Later-The Tubes

Finish it with the live version of "40" by U2 as you slowly fade out of the OR

A pretty eclectic group of songs, but all fun.

Thattsa great, great song.

Marketed by a video that'll bring tears to your eyes if you're at a bad place in your life.

Or even a good one.

Watch the video.

Intently.

BTW, how old is this video? And the part that says right now oil companies and old men are in control...

Gern-
Love the MAIDEN reference in your song list-recognize the Avatar...From "Somewhere in Time" album cover. How about "Number of the Beast" or "The Trooper" for the graduation song list?
