Are there federal need-based grants for pharmacy school? Thanks

you might be able toget pell grants/need based grants for pharmacy school if you are in an straight-out of highschool program (ie 0-6 or 2-4) during the years that would be equivalent to undergrad years. During professional/grad years or if you already have a bachelors you are not eligible for need-based grants and instead only for federal loans.

Each school will award a certain amount of money, usually merit based, depending upon your performance after entering pharmacy school. For example, VCU stated that most P4 students can expect to receive about $10,000 or so if they perform well enough.

This sounds like a school scholarship, not federal grants.
