I apologize if this is in the wrong section, I just couldn't find any section related to this type of thread.

I will be graduating from my CC in Dec. with around what I hope to be a 3.5 gpa. With that gpa alone do I qualify for any type of grants when I transfer to a University in my state. I do use financial aid but my parents can't help me and are in that category of..... make too much to get free money but don't make enough to help pay for me to go. Any info would be helpful I'm in Va if that helps. Thanks!

There's no way for us to know. Grants are based on "determined need". We don't know what your "need" is. UVA meets need for its students.

Use the net price calculators on various schools websites using your parents info.
