I am going to be enter Dental school next year and I had my graphing calc stolen. Is it worth it to replace it for next year? Thanks for the advice.

Only time I use a calculator now is to add up my patients treatment plan cost or when I calculate how much local I can use on a pedo patient. I just use the one on my PDA. I wouldn't spend more than $5 on one if I had to.

thank god, i'm so sick and tired of math after being an engineer for four years. THANK GOD! No more calculus either! yay!

nope. most of the people have already answered it. we did have a bio-statiscs class here at UNLV, but it was easy math.

Just a side note ... how do you guys like your dean at UNLV ...
The reason i'm asking is because Dr. Ferillo (spelling?) is set to take over Dugoni's post at The Pacific starting July '06, and I was just curious to know what to expect of him ?

Dude you gotta go into to the pre-dental forum. Based on her posts there I would say she hates the guy. Go to the shady UNLV thread. I think that's where her most open and honest comments are.

I have said this before: don't expect him to say hi to you if you're the only 2 people in the hallway, don't expect him to give you a straight answer to ANY question, and don't expect him to listen to anything you have to say cause he doesn't care. He's a GREAT politician with endo skills. That about wraps it up!
