Does it matter how much your score is in GRE or TOEFL as long as it is above the minimum requirements?
my GRE score is 1200 and TOEFL is 265, is that good enough or do I need to retake one or both of them?

p.s. I'm an iternational students planning to apply to ortho programs

hey Ramzi
I am also international student.
Actually I did MDS in ortho from my home country, but want to be board certified in US.
Which schools are you applying? Have you taken Boards?

Well, I will take NDBE part I in July, I hope I had time to take NDBE part II too but I dont have much time. I am planning to apply only to state universities since I can't afford to go to a private school in USA.
If you just want to be board certified then you can go to any school that makes you board eligibile (most of them), and if you can afford to, then try to focus on private schools since it is relatively easier to get an admission there.

I guess your MDS might help you, but you need to take NDBEs and GRE to apply to most good schools.

I'll be happy to exchange ideas, pm me if you are interested 👍

Hi, I was wondering too about GRE scores to apply to ortho residency; when u say your score is 1200 is that the quantitaive & verbal; what about the analytical?
The only school I found posting their minimal requirement for GRE was USC (1200), do u have any idea about other schools GRE requirement?
