GRE needed for ortho residency?

Do you need the GRE to do Ortho residency? will you only qualify for the certificate programs if you don't? Please advise. Thanks

GRE not needed, unless the program asks. there are pleny of programs without the GRE requirement, if that matters to you...

I think most MS programs require the GRE. I got my MS degree w/o having to take the GRE because my ortho program’s graduate school accepted my DAT.

Don't limit the number of places you apply just because of one silly test. Just study for 3 days, get an acceptable score, and move on. You wouldn't want to rule out a program that you really may have liked just because of the GRE.
