GRE not required?

I was wondering if a school decided that they do not require the GRE anymore, should I still submit my scores to that school since I took it? I took the GRE thinking that the school required it, but they decided that for 2013 fall applicants it is no longer needed. Is it better to send it anyways (scores not great) or to not send the scores at all?

If a school specifies the GRE is not required does it mean they don't even bother looking at it? Any input/suggestions will be appreciated!

I wouldn't offer any additional information than the school asked for unless I knew it was something they actually reviewed and placed weight on. My advice is to save your money.
