Hello, everyone! This is my first post, so please bear with me as I learn to navigate this website. I would appreciate any feedback or advice regarding the question below.
I am a third-year undergraduate student preparing to apply to vet school in Fall 2025. The schools to which I intend to submit an application no longer require the GRE. While some schools consider GRE scores despite their optional submission, many schools do not even include them in the application. Is it necessary to prioritize time and efforts in completing the GRE? My grades are great thus far (4.0 GPA) and all vet school prerequisites save for Physics II have been completed. Furthermore, upon the application deadline, I will have gained experience in volunteering (spay days, charities, shelters, music and language events, tutoring), research at my university, shadowing various specialties, zoo keeping, and working at a clinic for close to one year. Please advise if possible. As mentioned above, any feedback or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
