I've looked for past threads regarding this topic, but didn't find anything that answered my question.
For the schools that I'm applying to, they require a photocopy of my GRE scores. Is the 'GRE Report of Scores' sheet they mail out a few weeks after taking the GRE sufficient to send? I know it says 'this report is not valid for transmission of scores to an institution'. But again, it says only a photocopy is needed and my scores have been 'officially' sent to my choosen schools.

Thanks! Also, I'm looking forward to talking to you all. I've been stalking the forums almost everyday :ninja:

The schools actually said they require a photocopy of your scores? I haven't heard of that. All of the schools I've applied to required that you send them an official copy of your scores.

Kansas State requires an official score report sent from ETS and a photocopy. Very redundant to me! Hah.

There were a few grad programs I applied to that wanted a copy of the score report sent from me because they wanted to make admissions decisions ASAP or wanted it in the same package as the other stuff without having to go through filing crap. They pretty much said they'd probably only look at the official report for verification if they were going to offer admission.

Since that's the only report you get, I think it's obvious that it's the one they want you to send, the little "not valid for transmission" blurb notwithstanding. 😉

That works for me! Thanks!
