They are playing Dr. Vad's DVD "Stop Back Pain" on PBS. While he has been a giant in our field for quite some time, I did not realize he was so young, personable, and charming. A lot is said about PM&R/Physiatry on the show, and the purpose of the show is to expose lay-people to evidence based, non-operative care for back pain. What a great exposure to the general public for what we do!
