Hi guys.

Little advice please. I know GREs aren't all that important, but again- they must be- they are part of the application process....

I'm hoping to go into Maternal and Child Health and I have 3.5 with a lot of research experience in psych+health field, but not really solely health oriented..

I just got back from taking the GREs...(for the second time)
V=600 M=560
Do i need to take it again? My math is very low...

And does anyone know if schools take best scores? I did better on the math the first time i took it.

Hope I can be done with GREs...Help please!

Look into programs that are qualitative. M&CH is definitely has a foot in each camp. There is a lot of epi stats surrounding these issues and conversely a lot of non-math based work. I would suggest that you look at the programs you want to apply to and select ones that are not going to weigh your quantative GRE score as heavily as say a biostatistics department would.

Your composite score and GRE is good enough to get you into an MPH program somewhere, no doubt.

What's the 50th percentile mark for math?

About a 610. As I said before, a 50th percentile will get people above the cutoff for application review. Most schools won't even look at your application if all three sections aren't above that mark. Many schools have a higher threshold than that.
