Anyone know how to make grillz?

Just out of curiousity

A guy in my class did it this summer. He did one piece #7-10, I think if you do #6-11 or bigger it might have to go on in two pieces. He just waxed it up on his own model, invested, and cast it. He said he had to make some adjustments so it would come on and off easier,too. It looks pretty good to me!

Maybe someone should write a chapter on Grills and send it in to see if they will publish it in McCracken's Rem Pros txt. 😀 You know.. step by step procedures, photos, etc.

Or Alternatively.. You could just author an entire textbook yourself dedicated to the manufacturing of (professional quality) Grillz.

Although "grills" are a product of African American rap-pop culture.. anyone these days can be found purchasing these things...
its not really a colour based issue.

I guess I don't get it...do you have to prep teeth for "grillz" (like Flava Flav has)? Or do they fit over the unprepped teeth and engage undercuts like an RPD would?

I'm a 4th year and they haven't covered goldz yet...sheesh.
