Growth hormone and insulin

So in FA, it says that GH leads to insulin resistance. However, in the previous page, it says that GH leads to the increased secretion of insulin. Can anyone explain why the latter is the case? The two effects seem kind of contradictory.

Insulin resistance --> Increased insulin release to compensate

Oh gotcha! Forgot about feedback. And I can assume it's the same case with cortisol and insulin?
