Are all WICHE offices ******ed? Or is it just ours?

I've sent them 6ish emails, called countless times, and they never respond. The only way to make contact is to go to their office.

I've tried to get in touch with them for the past 2 months to find out what I had to do once I know which school I'm going to. This morning again I called and of course got the answering machine. I had nothing to do so I kept calling, one after the other. Finally of the 5th call they answered the phone. They tell me I have to send them my acceptance letter, which I don't have anymore. Thank god Pacific Admissions has got it's stuff together and faxed me my letter today, since in a few days I'll be out of the country for a month!

I bet they lose my fax. But of course I can't call to check (tried already) because they don't answer the phone! $80,000 is a lot of money...why must they play with my mind????????

I feel your pain, pine. The AZ office isn't easy to contact either. But you have to give the HI office a copy of your acceptance letter? That's crazy. As far as I know, that's not required here. Anyway, I hope you get it! Extra cash is always nice! 😀

Thanks IHD. Feeling better now, just needed to vent 😳 I saw a post where you said that Pacific might take away the scholarship if you get WICHE...I thought it was only if you get an all-inclusive scholarship like from the military. Was I wrong? 😱 That would be a bummer.

Don't worry, girl. I called them about that a while ago and they said it's not likely that they would take away your scholarship. Pretty much the only reason they would take it away is if you get a military scholarship.

WICHE seems to really consume a huge amount of paper for a pretty small return. The schools I've spoken to don't really worry too much about it in the admissions process. It's just one more place from where they'll have to deposit a check.
