Is there any info about IMGs who match GS? I'm really green to all this and don't know where to begin.

You can google it. And yes it does, it isn't pretty. The only score bracket for US-IMGs where the match rate is over 50% is the 250+ bracket and even then it's only 62% over the last 6 years.

If I'm not super picky about specialty, would Neuro be a better avenue?

GS is possible but really hard. Neuro is more attainable, EM somewhat, and the other three goro mentioned are all attainable as well.
