But seriously, I feel like my opportunities for shadowing and volunteering were limited until I was able to get a car. Sometimes I wish I went to school in a less rural area.

It's pretty hard to do most things without a car, unless you're in a big city. Shadowing a DO can be a nuisance.

Yeah, I probably should have invested in a steed to ride to the clinic 😛 Would have been more affordable tbh.
