Hello, I am a first year medical student at St. George's medical school. I have my heart set on cardiology and was wondering if someone could give me a checklist of things I need to get done, so, I can be competitive when the time comes. I know that attending SGU already puts me in a short end of things but I have seen it get done.
I am currently applying for research positions for the break between first term and 2nd term (3 months).
There might be a very slight chance that I could transfer to a U.S school if I keep up with what I am doing AND IF there are spots available.
Ignoring the transfer part, can someone share with me some wisdom on what needs to be done from now it then.

Thanks
N
