So I noticed today that the slang term 'gunner' was missing from wikipedia. I have corrected this gross oversight and added a page for it and put up a stub.

If you're bored, or just a gunner, go pitch in to finish this page.

Now let's see you will upload their pictures as an Exhibit A for gunner 🙂

Thank you scutmonkey.

haha, it's funny, but it's probably more appropriate for UrbanDictionary than Wikipedia, which tries to avoid being a repository of slang.

There is a guy in my class named Gunnar (pronounced goo-nar with a german accent). haha if he ever tries a rotation or residency in the US he better change his name!

Lol good job, expanding the general publics knowlege

Actually, around these parts a camouflaged gunner is known as a "sniper". I think it makes some kinda sense, too.

I started a facebook group dedicated to gunners (or just those that ask questions 20 times a lecture). We take pictures of them with their hands waving in the air and post them on our group called "For the Love of GOD, Put Your Hand Down!!!". Then we make pithy comments about them. Check it out and maybe even join to add your own class gunner's picture. The link is http://uth.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2212482307
