Is anyone using this program now during dedicated study time or planning to use it? I have been using it for a few months, but I didn't put in as much time as I should have so now I have only 38% banked and it's taking forever to bank questions! I really like it because it helps me to remember stuff, but now I am wondering if i should just ditch the idea of trying to bank anymore and just study what I have since I only have 6 weeks till the test. :scared:

im in the same place.. ive banked about 60% but i only have 11.5% mastery.. i dotn know if i should abandon it or keep going.. i definitely feel like i learn a lot from it

Omg that must be painful... if i even get a 5% diff between mastery and banked i start getting days with 80-90 questions... those days i look at my "schedule" and get depressed. The MC questions aren't bad, its the lists that always kill me and make me think the hardest.

Me too. 🙁 Most of the stuff I have left is basic sciences.

I think what I'm going to try to do is bank 100% of the cards. There's just no realistic way my mastery level is going to rise quickly. I'll definitely do all the GT Qs in the "Q bank" as well. That's a little more feasible.

As far as keeping up with the daily Qs... I'm on "lite" mode right now. And as long as I get the current load of Qs (100-200), I think it's worthwhile to keep up with it. But if GT goes over say, 3 hrs/day, I think that's too much. Though, I do wonder if you spend say 6 hrs/day on it... how quickly would you be able to "master" the material 😕

It also has to do with how "harshly" you grade yourself. I never give myself a 5 unless I really can regurgitate like the 10 things the Qs ask me for... But I think once dedicated study time starts in a few wks, I'm going to be a bit more "generous" in grading myself. 😉

Not for Qs on major stuff that I really don't know... but not all their Qs are created equal, kwim? If it's a Q asking for 8 details about a comparatively minor point... I think it's ok to rate yourself more generously if you get the gist of the answer.

It's not ideal, but... hey, we're battling time. :luck:

How's the lite mode? I would love having less questions, but i am worried about them spacing me out so long that I forget things.

i just switched to lite mode. i need to stop pretending i can continue in comprehensive mode...

Lol, me too!! Then with the switch my percent mastery dropped from 13% to 5.8%. How is that even possible 🙁

How early would you recommend someone starts with gunner training to realistically finish gunner training?

I think the ideal scenario would be summer after 1st year or beginning of 2nd year. I think earlier than that you might miss a bunch of integrations because most of the 1st year stuff is incorporated into 2nd year. So in the summer, get biochem, embryology, micro, pharm out of the way.

I'm at 62% banked and 52% mastered...4 weeks until dedicated time. Gonna shoot for 100% by then (I add as I do FA and it's all basically FA). Some of the topics go soooo fast. Then there's the 33 question cards in some of the path (which I finally finished today). I'm hoping embryo/anatomy isn't too ridiculous (Anyone know off the top of their head?).
