Gyn Onc fellowship interviews

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Sweet jesus, UNC just had their deadline for application yesterday. havent' heard anything. I think we still have plenty of time.
P.S., seeing you are from the West Coast, do you know what happened to Stanford/UCSF this year? Taking an internal candidate, or did the program really fall apart?

Anybody heard anything from UNC? Their coordinator said they don't even start looking until the 15th deadline then start reaching out if applications are incomplete.

UC Irvine interviews offered.

that's awesome! congratulations. they have a strong program. i've only heard back from suny downstate.

i lied about brown... sorry it was just an eras message restating application requirements

MGH. Man, was really hoping for UCLA and U Washington. Should I send an email?

UCLA only offered me one date and asked for reply within a short time frame. Could be possible that they will have another round of offers. I dunno. I don't think it can ever hurt to email politely.

Washu St. Louis. UTSW Dallas. Penn. Columbi/Cornell. Rejection from UCLA. Awaiting rejection from Colorado now 🙁. This process seems tougher and more random than residency...

did you just receive an invitation from every other school besides UCLA today?

I agree that this is all very random but it will work out for us all! I just received rejections from UAB, OSU, Michigan, UCLA. It almost seems like if you don't hear from a school immediately, you probably will not be invited for an interview.

Agreed, but I wish they wouldn't keep us in limbo. I didn't get an interview at UCLA, that was the day I got their rejection. I'm waiting on rejections from USC and UW.
Yesterday I did get interviews from UCSD, UNC, and Sinai.

Hello,

I was just curious if anyone knew a timeline for gyn onc fellowship interview invites? Do most programs send rejection emails as well? Thanks in advance!
