so uh...

i received an email today saying that ecology courses don't count towards my BCP gpa, when i was told by a representative on the phone that they do. at this point i do not even know what to do.

does anyone know (from personal experience) whether or not ecology courses count towards the BCP gpa? (as in, they had their gpas verified by AADSAS)? because for me, a bulk of my classes are ecology related it could make the difference between me applying in next year's cycle or the year after.

as long as the course abbreviation (dept) is biology, it'll count. my school has ecology class under biology department. same goes for evolution class.

nope its under "ecology"...

at my school there are a lot of categories aside from biological sciences..i.e. cell bio and neuroscience, genetics, etc.

Just list it as bio and submit. Let them figure it out.

Don't think schools will think you lied about classifying it. I would expect ecology to be under biology.

I put an ecology class under the biology classification, and it was verified. It was offered through the biology dept.
