half credit classes?

Hi again

Just wondering when I"m figuring out my GPA, does a half credit class count as such? I'm taking a orgo lab class which in my school counts for half credit as opposed to the normal full credit. Do i need to take this into account when calc my GPA for the application

I believe that a half-credit course will count as a half-course. Yes, you would need to take this in to account when you calculate your GPA. I know that a lot of dental schools require a full year of Orgo which has a lab component. So, you should keep this in mind. Good luck.

At my school, Tufts, Orgo class counts as one credit and orgo lab counts as half a credit on top of orgo class. Now in this situation does orgo class and lab count as 1.5 credit on the aadsas GPA?
