USMLE Half done with Uworld and 50% cumulative

Exam is in three weeks, took NBME 12 after finishing DIT and got a 200. I was at 164 before I started studying a month ago so I have improved I was just hoping I'd be doing better. I am going to be doing pathoma over the next three books and doing my second pass of first aid. I know I am weak on bugs and drugs. I am studying drugs as I go along but plan on cramming bugs because I've never done well on them.

I just don't know what to do and feel so disheartened. I would like somewhere from a 220 to 230, really I just want to be average and in a safe place to go into OBGYN.

Any advice from people about how I can improve my score by 20 points?

Hey man, it's hard. I haven't taken it yet but I think you should do a careful read of the topics you're weak on and go back to them each time you see relevant questions. Repetition is key in my opinion and eventually you'll pick it up. My Uworld was not great for the first 5 weeks and then it jumped up abruptly after I watched pathoma and read the first aid pharm chapters. I think I was about 50-60% done around then. I just tried to focus on learning the stuff I didn't know and I'm doing better.

Pathoma alone if properly learned by watching his videos, reading his book and truly learning the material he presents will take you up 15-20 points at the very least NO BS. Dr. Sattar really does make a big difference.
You will start to see a 10-15 % score increase on Uworld too.
