I find it hard to believe no one else has put this up yet!
What's everyone doing for halloween? I should probably stay in and study for anatomy but where's the fun in that?!

I've gotta work all day, thankfully we get to wear our costumes.
I'm going as Jack Skelington from Nightmare Before Xmas.
Too bad we're too old to trick-or-treat.

I'm going to try to get my husband to bring the Halloween box up from the basement and go with my usual awesome pirate chick costume, complete with sword. If the box is buried or he can't find it, I'll probably just throw on my kimono and go as a geisha or something.

We don't get a lot of ToTers here so we're going down to my mom's house in our old neighborhood. First for dinner (she offered to cook for us... score!) then to give out candy with her. We're also going to take our 22 month old up and down the block once for her first trick-or-treating experience. She is going as a flower fairy... it's freakin' adorable.

I'm taking advantage of my last college Halloween, dressing up (80's prom queen) and going out! Luckily the party I'm headed to doesn't start til 10, so I have a little bit of time to study for midterms 🙄

I'm studying, but I've been to a few events. Midterms on Teusday, yadda yadda.

I went to downtown San Diego last night and the place was pretty crazy. There were plenty of costumes and all that. There were plenty of aggro'd Jersey Shore turds and psychotic bums. It felt like everyone was super aggressive last night. Some of them came up to me and my friend and wanted to pick fights, so I just told them that I was gay and that I love them. I tried to give them hugs. That sent them packing pretty quick, although I'm not really sure why. I would have expected that to give them more reason to want to attack us.

This story needs hugs. I would have expected the same thing, though.

Boy tonight was interesting. I went down to downtown syracuse (those applying to upstate medical, I can give the dish on teh good places to go). I went with a friend of mine and a friend of hers. At about 1:30 (half an hour before the bars close), I ran to the bathroom and when I came out, everyone was GONE. I was their ride home so I'm like "uhh. wtf?!". Ended up hanging around till 2:30 (half an hour after the bars close) and nadda. Decided I'd head home since i only live 10 minutes from downtown and if they called, I could be there fast.
As I'm driving home, this group of guys run in front of my car. As I slammed on my breaks one of them goes "Yeah that's right, fat ugly b*tch, you better stop!". I was just like "uhh, okay?" And his friend comes up to my car, starts apologizing and saying how awesome I am.

Gotta love drunk people.

I wasn't going to do Halloween this year....but then I felt like a Scrooge. So, the compromise is, I'm going to buy a huge thing of full-sized candy bars, and I will leave them on my porch in a cute pumpkin bowl while I go to the movies🙂

Oh god. I let my studying suffer a bit last week because I couldn't stop watching this show.

Anyway, I'm mostly staying in tonight. I partied at MSU last night and it ended up being kinda boring. Right now I'm staying in and ignoring the angry knocking of children who aren't getting any candy from me.

Hahah I was going to post yesterday but held back...I have micro and path tests on thursday...300 questions all together. I worked in 1 halloween party into my study schedule (last night)...We need to stay sane SOMEHOW

I was a premed zombie. 😉 (Those scrubs my mother bought me when I told her I wanted to go to med school finally came in handy. Haha)

This is before I applied the laceration to my face, so my hair is up, but you get the idea. Isn't my baby brother so handsome! 🙂
