As anyone gotten an application from Hampton School of Pharmacy for the class enterrng 2007? Or better yet has anyone even began to apply?

anyone? i went to the school's website and couldn't find any information...I even emailed some of the staff but have not received a reply yet. It says that they're opening for fall 2007, but application and admission requirements are nowhere to be found!

the website lists requirements and prereqs, but it is not very informative. call the admissions dept (number is on the web site). they mail out applications starting in early sept. i called a few weeks ago to confirm i was on the mailing list, but i haven't recieved anything yet. it is my understanding taht it is a 100% paper submission. they don't use pharmcas, they schedule their interview later then most, acceptances go out later then most other schools, and they don't do e.d. hope that helps.

does anyone know how many PS1 students they will accept vs freshman applicants? Since it is a new school, it seems like they would accept more freshmen than transfer students? Or are there two separate programs? ahh i'm confused!

i talked to a hampton student the other day who was doing a rotation at the military hospital i do some shadowing at. she made it sound like hampton does not guarantee any seats to those in the pre-pharmacy program and that they have to compete for a seat just like everyone else. i am not so sure that is how it works though. i think they accept around 60 student a year.
