Congrats! I have yet to hear from them. Would you mind sharing your stats? I'm trying to figure out where exactly I stand.
 
I was so relieved when I got that e-mail. I just read congratulations and threw my phone down!
 
I received my acceptance email last Friday and will be attending in Sept. as well! I am very blessed and grateful! Here are my stats:

Undergrad GPA: 3.72
Pre-Req GPA: 3.33
GRE: Verbal 150 Quant 150
Volunteer Hours: 360 (150 University health center; 115 Outpatient Clinic; 40 Home Health; 20 Acute Care Hospital; 20 Geriatric/Skilled Nursing Facility; 15 Women's Health)
 
Hey guys. I've been accepted as well. I went ahead and created a facebook page so we could talk roommates and all that jazz. Its called Hampton University DPT Class of 2018. See ya there!
 
Also I'm interested in a roommate for one of the following luxury apartments in Hampton:

- Abbington at Hampton Center $1044/mo
- The Chapman at Peninsula $1400/mo
- Addison at Hampton $1200/mo
- Abbington at Northampton $914/mo

They're listed from largest to smallest square footage
 
Also heard back from Hampton. Does anyone know the reputation of this program. Pass rates are decent, class size is nice, tuition isn't too bad, but how is everything else?

The pass rates are okay but look at how many students were taking the exam in the first place. I'm pretty sure that about 25 students are admitted each year. Also, the university seized operation for a few years.. on a forum from a previous year, it was said that HU DPT had to go through accreditation before starting back up. I'm not sure how credible that source is though

Hey everyone, I created the Facebook group a when I started this thread. Copy and paste this into Facebook: Hampton University DPT Class of 2018. Hope everyone finds great housing! I went to Grad school here so if you have specific questions Ill be happy to help you!
 
Is there anyone that hasn't heard back yet? Getting very nervous as it seems they've already offered a lot of spots
 
Hey y'all! I received my acceptance letter as well and am very excited. I searched for the group on Facebook but nothing is coming up. I would love to join and meet everybody.
 
How many people are in the Facebook group? Just curious to see how many spots are left. I think I have ok stats! 3.3 overall, 3.1 science, 40 hrs acute, 60 hrs ortho, 20 hrs aquatic, spent this last year as a rehab tech (over 1000 hrs) and 200 hrs as a personal assistant. Starting to get frustrated!

Hey guys. I just received my acceptance email confirming my acceptance. I am stoked! Looking forward to being part of Hampton's DPT class of 2018. Those that have not heard back, be patient and don't lose hope!
 
Hello everyone, I received an email today stating I had been accepted into the DPT program at Hampton University! I tried looking up the facebook page mentioned earlier but can not seem to find it. Can anyone help?
 
Congrats on your acceptance everyone! Those who have not heard, be patient! Hampton moves at their own pace lol. This year there were over 750 applications for only 26 spots. There is a bunch of possibilites DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED. I have been in your shoes before.


For those who have been accepted thus far, please join our Facebook group! In the search engine type: Hampton University DPT Class of 2018.
(We only have 8 members thus far)... Those still waiting keep the faith!

Looks like Hampton is taking their sweet time again. Anyone accepted know about how many spots they have left? They're my last hope besides a couple wait lists. 🙁 looks like I should starting gearing up for my third try. Third times the charm right?

People are still shuffling around seats. There's still a chance for this cycle! Fingers crossed for you.
 
Ive heard absolutely nothing from alabama state I worked all day today really didnt have time to call but i will call and see the status
