Hello all. I'm wondering about hand surgery. It seems pretty cool. There are three ways to get there as far as I can tell: Ortho or Gen surg or Plastics + a Hand fellowship. Is any one of these pathways more respected or preferred over another? What is the demand for hand surgery like? Is it sufficient to support a 100% hand surgery practice or do people tend to practice hand surgery in addition to other general fields?
