Hi
On recent Saturday (04.01.2014), on skating I fall and broke my right wrist.
I went to hospital and after several hours of waiting I got examined by surgeon.
After that I got referral to get x-ray image.
Then I went to final visit
There were 2 pictures, one "front", second "from the side" of the wrist
Front look like:

everything was OK.
But, "side photo" of the wrist, there was visible ... fracture.
I googled some images it looks like
triquetral avulsion fracture
Overall side image was like this photo:

but the chip fracture was much bigger, it is similar to this (in hand proportion)

but the chip was MUCH THINNIER, it looked like fingernail of the thumb.
Doc said that this should be treated with cast immobilization, and they put my right wrist into cast.
But I am actually worried, because doc face looked weird, when they diagnosed me,
why do they don't pinned this chip surgical to triquetral bone??
