Anyone else catch the premier last night? I thought it was interesting, but kind of choppy at times (perhaps intentional on director's part?).

Would have liked to see much more on character background other than just the protagonist merely saying he has aspergers and "Oh hey, here's a psychiatrist. his name is hannibal lecter. Let's get his help!"...maybe in future episodes.

Also, kind of confused about the scene in hannibal's office where Crawford is stroking "dr. Lecter"s ego...he says something to the tune of "...and that's why you did your internship at johns hopkins".

So question is: did psych once have a separate intern year or has it always been an advanced residency? I figured he would have said residency if he meant it, maybe the writers goofed or maybe I'm reading into it too much. 😀

Yeah people used to do internships in medicine a long time ago before psychiatry programs became mostly categorical. A few people still do a separate internship.
Not very interested in the Hannibal show myself.
