anyone ever consider relationship with folks (even if long distance) ? mine has been on the rocks this past year . it's amazing how the corner stone of Islam is the oneness of Allah swt & next in line is kindness to parents !!

equally incredible is the fact that their prayers are automatically answered , there's the solution to all our problems right there !!
no matter how hard it seems, in the end it says alot about what kind of person we are ; if not loyal to those who fed & raised us , then little expectations for anyone else .
lilasaf , there are no exceptions to the rule , no matter what excuses we may cook up , stories about parents of the Companion's of the Prophet pbuh were real intense & they still managed to stay true to the verse, so it's humanly proven possible !
Mohammed pbuh says what implies that he/she who has living parents & doesn't enter paradise by serving them is the biggest looser ! (could pray for Allah swt's mercy for parents who have passed)
