I thought I'd take this opportunity to recognize everyone's favorite non-religious holiday - Mole Day 6.02x10^23, at 6:02 in the morning eastern time!!!!

Use this space to post your favorite mol-ar related thoughts and tales 😀 !

Thank You, Avogadro!

you're probably one of those people that celebrates 3.14 as pi day huh?

And a happy mole day to you to.......... You have to love the mole........ St. Patricks Day is to the Irish what mole day to chemists/biologists, an excuse to drink beer.

hah, i didn't even remember. my mom teaches high school chemistry and usually she has the kids make t-shirts and wear them for a few extra points on a quiz or something.

Well... this holiday may not rank as high as others. But, in its honor, I recommend everyone reflect on where they'd be today if Avogadro hadn't derived his number. Would modern advances in dentistry and dental materials have even be possible if it wasn't for 6.02x10^23?? That's for you to decide.

In any case, I still plan on toasting Avogadro at 6:02 pm with a good old Italian Peroni. PMantz is so right, with mole day, how can you go wrong?!

My high school chemistry teacher during sophomore year had us celebrate mole day. I thought the guy was on crack.
