I have a hard decision to make. I just got an interview from Case, but i got an interview from UOP as well. I know that UOP gives a very high percentage chance for acceptance if you get an interview. I dont really think i would live in Ohio and i want to stay on the west coast. Its pretty early in the game and i havent really gotten any interviews from other schools that i am even more interested in than Case (USC, penn, comlumbia, nyu, UCSF, UCLA). But they only give you 10 days to schedule your interview day which i highly doubt i would get any more interviews in that short time period. So should i just pass on the Case interview because i already have UOP and really want to go there unless I get into a better school....

What would you guys do??? THANKS

did UOP give you a set date/time or something that collides with case? why can't you just go to both? haha...

and if you didn't want to go to ohio why did you apply to case at all? i wouldn't count my eggs before they've hatched... so go to both if you have the money :]

and how did UOP notify you? i really wanna go theree

I would go to both interviews...nothing is ever a guarantee. What is holding you back from going to both interviews?

And, congrats on the interview requests...hopefully, I will join you and get an interview from UofP...no interviews yet 🙁

by looking at your scores, it seems you should definitely get interviews at your top schools. but until you are in, i don't know if it's worth the gamble. if money isn't an issue, i would go to all of the interviews. i want you to be confident in yourself of course, but at the same time you never know what to expect until you get the acceptance. that's probably what I would do, but good luck!

Schedule the Case interview at the end of November and don't attend it if you end up getting same date from other top choices, or get mutiple interviews. Btw, you will most likely hear from Penn and Columbia in 10 days if they are interested in you.

I think you will get into UoP...your stats are higher than their average: They have 20.6 AA and like 3.4ish gpa.

I scheduled my Case interview last week, and the earliest date available was like Dec. 3rd. Schedule it, and if you get accepted somewhere else on Dec. 1st then you can cancel your interview.

haha yea thanks guys, pretty much ur right thats what I will do...schedule for late date and see what I get.

I applied to a lot of schools before taking the DAT, so I basically didnt know what score i was going to get and i was betting on my other scores...which were not so good so thats why I applied to some schools that I prob would not go to.
