So I'm looking through the textbook list -- required and recommended -- for the upcoming M1 year, and I'm wondering: do I want hardcover or paperback editions for my soon-to-be-enourmous personal medical library?

What do you think? What are you buying (or going to buy)? Have you started buying your books yet?

Spend the extra money on the Netter Hardcover. Its a book that you will keep on your shelf for the rest of your medical career - trust me.

My soft cover is torn to shreds after the past 10 years, but it was definitely the best anatomy book I have ever seen.

Yeah, I already have the Netter hardcover. That's a quality book.

Paperback. It tends to be cheaper.
Good point. It will definitely add up.
