Hardest pre-pharm class?

I have to agree - Physics II takes the cake for me! I secretly think the only reason I ended up with a B that semester was because I was in the first row, attempting to understand things with a blank expression! 😛

Physics will probably be the hardest for me. It was the only science class in high school that I almost failed.

calculus and general chemistry, i hated both subjects, therefore they were hard, because getting to study was like pulling teeth. multiple teeth. in fact, i would have preferred getting my teeth pulled by some pre-DDS SDN members 😱

easiest was OChem, biochemistry, and molecular biology. I REALLY loved those subjects and got A's in them as a result.

I'm considering retaking the inorganic chem series...specifically for USN's academic forgiveness program in case i have to push entry to Fall '09 due to reapplication.

Molecular Biology. Teacher just read off her power points and would remove stuff at random as she breezed through at 90 miles/minute.

Ah yes, the Cell Bio. I must have had a male version of your professor. This guy was more into his research than really teaching, he knew his stuff but his style of teaching and exams were just brutal. Exams averages were 50's to 60's. Someone even got single digit score, whoever this was obviously did not bother even trying.

Most people say that Organic Chemistry 2 is the hardest! Even harder than Calculus if you can believe that! Most doctors and pharmacists will tell you that Organic Chem 2 was the hardest class they ever took. I got a "B" in Organic 1 and an "A" in Organic 2. Thats right, I got a ****ing A in Organic 2!

Never had a problem with any Organic, killed both courses, even with a professor gunning for me in Organic II (had the same guy for both). I don't think he liked that I laid waste to his exams, though my lab work was less than stellar.

I spent the most time studying for organic 1&2, but I really enjoyed that class.

Physics 2 was probably the hardest because it is SOOOOO..... boring. I never studied just wanted to pass (was already accepted to pharmacy school, just had to get a C).

I had a hard time with Physics because I just couldn't understand it. Organic chem was also challenging.

I would have to say biochem. It gets really dry trying to memorize all the pathways, inhibitors and activators 😴

P-chem was not easy but I had professor who did not care enough to give us the same questions on the exam as the practice test lol

Chem II is my worst nightmare at the moment. Im taking it over an 8 week term and Ive gotten to the point where I just dont care anymore. I recently discovered a few mouth ulcers I developed studying for the 3rd exam

The worst part is, I have an 80 in the class. Just enough to give me hope of a B.

English 2 Tough professor, even though English was one of my best subjects

i got all a's but i would say -anatomy & physiology 1 was the hardest, there were 3 a's in my entire 500 person class, i walked around with note cards in my freaking pocket... red light time to study

Wow.. Am I the only one that thought English and Biol 1 (ecology) was the hardest? I scored below 70 for both those courses

How difficult is physic II? I am going to take it next Spring. I did not have hard time when I took physic I during summer 2005. I had an awesome instructor. I am kind of scare.

I think I do not like biology classes even though I got all As. I love organic chemistry. I thought that It was hard, but it is not.

I have worked really hard for my prerequisites because I got out of highschool 15 years ago.

Gen. Chem II and Bio II was the hardest pre-pharm courses for me. I performed very well in Organic I and A&P I&II. I'm taking organic II in the fall and I hope that it will go as well as part I did.

original response: physics II

ok, i take that back. physics II was bad when we got to electromagnetism, but for some reason, i am doing very well in that class. therefore, i am changing my answer to general chem labs. because my TAs sucked ass and couldnt teach me a thing. i was like a blind rat feeling my way through chemicals.

I agree with physics II. I am in it right now and it's my last prereq I need in order to start pharm school this fall. All I need is a C and I have never had a class where I worried if I am going to pass. Ridiculously hard. Only one more week though. 🙂

Plain and simple. If you did not get an "A" then its hard.

Definitely, Calculus I... I hate those derivatives... all nonsense... well, maybe I just don't have the calculus gene. I don't know...

My Aesthetics of Film class was hard as hell.

Maybe the professor doesn't like that students think it will be a breeze.
